They are averaging under 30 shots per game and are giving up 31 to their opponent. This team needs to find some offense and needs to shoot the puck more. The next man up mentality has not worked for the Islanders this season as they currently rank 31st in the league averaging 2.13 goals scored per game. The Islanders still only have three players with at least 10 points, but without Barzal in the lineup, only two of those skaters will be dressed on Thursday night.
